Just a little update on what's been going on! This is Iggy, she was the family's 15 year old iguana. She died & we were all very sad for... well we're still sad. :( Drew and I decided to get a new iguana to help fill the gap.

Meet Vera! She's our new baby red iguana! Red iguanas are the same as green iguanas, other than the skin color. This picture was right before she shed, so her head is grey. After she shed, her head turned black! She is so sweet & she's gorgeous too!

My friend Holly & I did a fun shoot a little while ago, we borrowed our boss's great dane, Rue for the shoot too! I'm still working on editing this awesome shoot!

Addison & Tierra are getting married this weekend in St.George!! This is one of the bridals I took of them about a month ago!! They're a great couple & I am glad I got to work with them!!

My sister, Annette, made a mini company called Rueberry Designs. She's selling her little headbands at my stepdad's store. I made her a logo, and Sydney (my new sister-in-law) modeled for me!! Can you believe that Syd is only 13 years old?! She was a great model!

I want to start trying new crafts, but I have a lot to learn.

Samantha is my cousin, and she is freaking gorgeous! This shoot was done in Kolob, Hurricane, and St.George UT on 8.21.10, and it was awesome! It was around 105 degrees, but she still looked awesome with him. They're getting married on 9.17.10, and I couldn't be happier for them!

I took some images for Cassie Webb's Massage Therapy business! She is great, I had my first massage from her just yesterday! Her cute little sister was the model on the table, and we had a great time!

My family wanted their pictures taken, so we took em about a month ago. The babies were so cute, and everything went well. I still need to print them for my sisters, but we got the ones for my parents all hung up and they look great!! :)

Dinner & a Movie with my Handsome Husband

I have become obsessed with cooking. After discovering I have a talent for it, I've been learning a lot & trying out new recipes. It is weird, after each success of a meal, I try even harder to make the next one better. I love food, that's all there is to it. I am that little rat on Ratatouille.

Today I wanted to make something special for Drew. I went to the liquor store (where I got so many dirty looks & stare downs-- I must look like a 14 year old still) to figure out what I should make. I decided on a bottle of Marsala for Chicken Marsala. I really don't know much at all about alcohol, so I just grabbed one. Haha, I've got the word "beginner" written all over me! Drew said this is the best meal I've made so far, and I think it was too, so I'm sharing the recipe with all who would like it. (I got the recipe from allrecipes.com & made my adjustments to it).

First, turn on your stereo with some Iron & Wine. Gets you in the mood for cookin'.
Mix 1/4 cup flour, oregano, salt, pepper & italian seasoning in a small bowl. Coat chicken tenders in this mixture. Set aside. Put 1/2 cube butter & some olive oil in saucepan over medium heat.
Place tenders in the pan. When lightly browned on one side, turn over & add 1 & 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms, 1/3 cup chopped white onions & like 2 tablespoons of chopped up fresh garlic. Add 1 cup (one & a half!) Marsala Wine. Cover with lid (I used foil because I don't have a lid for this pan) & cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. I served this with mashed potatoes. After the potatoes are done boiling (I did like 5 medium russets), place in bowl with 1/4 cup milk, 4 TBSP cream cheese, salt, pepper, handful of mozzarella cheese. Blend well. I also served this with cooked sliced carrots as a side dish. The mashed potatoes blended so well with the Marsala sauce. I was so proud of myself. Drew kept telling me what a lucky man he is to have a wife so talented. I kept thinking about what a lucky woman I am to have such a great husband!! I'm glad he appreciates the effort I put into making him happy. If you decide to make this recipe, let me know how it turns out & what you served it with!

After dinner, we decided to go to a movie. We chose The Book of Eli. I really liked this movie. I am tired & don't want to go into detail about it, but I think you should see it. Everyone should.

Poppy Seed Pound Cake

From my new mother-in-law!

1 Yellow Cake Mix

1 cup Sour Cream

1 tsp. Imitation Rum Flavoring (I doubled this & loved it)

1/2 cup butter (melted)

4 eggs
1/2 cup water

1 JELLO French Vanilla Pudding Mix

1/4 cup Poppy Seeds

Mix everything together with handmixer.

Set timer for 5 minutes & mix on high speed.

This step makes the consistency perfect.

Bake for 45 minutes at 350.

Turn over on cake plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool. Stuff.

Malcolm, Sydney, Drew's Dad, Drew & I all played Risk today. Well, they're still playing but I'm naturally the first out. So I'm blogging. I fed them all poppy seed pound cake while we played the game, and it did make it MUCH more enjoyable! Drew's mom has made this cake countless times and I got the recipe for it today. I want you all to make this cake! It is so good. Try it refrigerated too, I like it better when it's cold. (Same with Drew).

New Bed & Christmas

First off, here's the new bed!! We ordered it today and we're picking it up tomorrow. Very excited. Oh, and the three choices we had before? Yeah, that company sucks. They never have anything in stock, and no, I don't want to order something before at least seeing a floor model! We're really excited, Drew told me that he's always secretly wanted a canopy bed. I'll be sure to buy lots of curtains so he can hide & play in the bed. (He's a kid at heart, but really who isn't?!)
Drew got me a gift card to Aveda/Remedez in the mall, and I already used it! I love their earthy yummy smell good amazing products.
Drew also surprised me with this!! It's called FlowerBomb Viktor & Rolf perfume. I really like it, it's the perfect blend of sweetness & sharpness.
Drew also got me a gift card to Nordstrom's, and yes, that is always the perfect gift!!
Sydney (my brand new little sister in law!) gave me milk duds & gum! Some of my favorite chocolates. mmm.
My new bro in law- Blake- gave me a new amazing keyboard for the MAC! I love it! Look how skinny it is!
Drew also gave me the Hangover, and I LOVE this DVD. He also gave me Inglorious Basterds, but I haven't seen that one yet.
Drew's parents gave me a gift card to bed bath and beyond, because I love to cook!!
I got Drew Ratatouille on BluRay, because he loves Pixar in BluRay and we both love this movie!
I got Drew his dream recording software!! Okay, I didn't really get it for him, I gave him money towards it, and so did his family. :) I couldn't afford this all by myself. But he is so happy with it, and that makes me happy. He's wanted recording software for years and I'm glad he can finally start recording.
I got Drew this CD... and I have to admit... I love this band and I got it more for myself.
Drew wanted this CD.... need I say more?...
Drew also wanted this CD, and I really liked it.
My stepmom & dad gave Drew some shirts & socks, and they gave me money towards this MAC. My mom & stepdad gave Drew a shoe shining kit, and me a few shirts. Mark gave us money & my favorite MAC makeup color (woodwinked). Annette gave us yummy minty Biolage, love it. Colin (new brother in law) gave me this AWESOME DC jacket. I love it. A lot. Like I've worn it every day since Christmas and it's starting to smell like B.O. Then I just spray some of that new perfume on it...voila! Drew's mom gave me a massage pillow, it goes on our massage table and it is positioned under your knees to keep your back aligned when you're being massgaed.

Sorry this post is all about presents. I feel so spoiled this year. I'm really so happy being married. Drew is more than I could ask for. I love him so much! And if you're reading this, I love you too.

I've had lots going on, and I keep ignoring my blog. So I've loaded up lots of random images, and I'm going to tell you about them & what's going on!

The next 3 pictures are different queen bed frames I want to get. I really like the 3rd one, and that one is also the cheapest. What one do you like? Drew said, "A bed is a bed" when I asked him which one he liked best. Then he said cinder blocks work fine... oh man. So I need someone's opinion on these!

One week after our wedding, we took Bigelow Family pictures. I really had fun! Rick Brimhall took the images, and I edited them. I uploaded a couple. By the way, Rick & I are starting a business together! We are excited, and everything seems to be falling into place. He's going to be the photographer, and I'm going to be the editor. (For the most part). We've got our logo cooking, and I'm working on a brochure, and he's working on our website. So excited!

This is Aspen, such a cute little girl! I took her pictures today, and a few of them are still processing. She wasn't very excited to get her pictures taken, but that's just how kids are! :)
I just ordered this book, by Audrey Niffenegger. She wrote The Time Traveler's Wife, and this is her new book. I'm excited to read this one!
Drew ordered this for me a few days ago, and it is arriving on TUESDAY! I am so excited! Due to migraines, I usually get a massage every week, or every two weeks. It starts to get pricey after awhile, so Drew told me we should just get a massage table. In December, we have an appointment with my favorite massage therapist, and she's going to teach Drew a few things about massaging my head/back/neck. I'm really hoping this works, because if we can find an affordable way to eliminate my migraines, I will be able to live again!!
This is my cousin Marti, her husband Price, and their two kids. I took their family pictures last week, and then we went out to eat at California Pizza Kitchen. It was fun, and really good to catch up with my awesome cousin.

I took my stepsister, Taylor's pictures a couple weeks ago. She is SO cute! A guy at work saw these pics & asked if she is single, and Drew said, "SHE'S FOURTEEN!!" Hahahaha.... SO Funny.

I need a new car [caution: lots of venting]

My old [1988] Honda Accord LX is an elderly bipolar piece of crap. I can't imagine this car living to see 2010. Often, the throttle will stick & pump tons of gas into the engine, making the RPM's shoot up to 3 & 4,000 while I'm sitting at a stoplight in neutral!! Other times, the car barely runs at all. I haven't tried to figure out my gas mileage, but I am sure it is horrible. I don't think my speedometer works anyway so it may be impossible to find out the gas mileage. I went to pass safety & emissions the other day... and guess who didn't pass? Yep! ME! My tires were too bald in the front- which yes, is an easy fix and happens to any car. I can understand that. But then, the guy tells me that my power steering fluid leak (which I've had since I was duped into buying the car) is coming from the steering column and it would be a little over $522.00 to fix it. THEN it can pass safety & emissions. The next morning, I turned on my car & my left headlight was out. We've fixed the brakes 2 [maybe 3?] times in 2 years. The window washing fluid sprayers completely miss half the windshield. In the summer, it sometimes goes into the passenger window. The air conditioning worked for the first 2 months of having the car, and then it went out. The heating is also working on leaving me. Just in time for winter! Such timing. Oh, and we're getting married next week. And we are driving off.... in my honda? Sounds safe to me.

I have been studying the Consumer Reports book that my sweetheart bought for me. Studying intensely. I don't want to ever have a car like this again. The monthly charges to fix my Honda almost equal a car payment on a nice car. I found out what I want & need. Introducing: The Scion xB! Older model or newer model, makes no difference to me. I just freaking need it. If you know of anyone who is selling one, please do tell!

And my plan for my Honda: total destruction. I'll even buy an axe. I couldn't pass this burden onto anyone else. I am so sad that someone fixed it up & passed it onto me. [have ye no heart?!!] This is one example of when the elderly should be put down.

Okay, I am done venting.

Anyway, my bridal shower was lots of fun! Lots of people showed up, and it was nice to see everyone together. My Aunt Myrna threw the shower at my grandma's house, and I think the other aunts helped with games/food/other stuff too. (Aunt Laura & Aunt Helen) The shower was cooking themed, I am aspiring to become a wonderful cook! We ate food, played games & talked a lot!This is me, wearing the sexiest pair of underwear I've ever seen! From Aunt Malin, Macyn & Marin!!

This is a cookbook & sign from Carolyn Andrews, the very nice lady across the street I grew up on! The cookbook is filled with recipes from all the women in the area where I grew up, and I'm excited to go through them & learn the tricks of the trade. The sign is a metal engraved "pantry" sign for.. well, the pantry of course! :) I didn't catch a picture of her, because she had to leave a bit early.
This is from my stepmom, Tifani & my stepsister, Taylor! I love these new dishes!! She got me 2 boxes of the 4 place setting sets. I love having lots of dishes. These ones are a really dark charcoal gray color, in a matte finish. I'm going to match these up with awesome black silverware (either this one or that one) that costs an arm & a leg, but it will look great on the table!
This is my new waffle maker from Aunt Myrna, Aunt Kathy, Aunt Laura & Grandma Grace. I've always wanted to try out one of these, ever since my Aunt Kathy served Belgian Waffles & strawberries at her house. It looks like the maker beeps when it needs to be turned over, for even browning! Exactly what I need! I'm excited for this one!!
This is from my Mommy Jane, Melissa & Nancy! I've been wanting a rice cooker for the longest time. Seriously. I would make amazing chicken-teriyaki-stir-fry, and then pair it up with nasty mushy rice. I can not make rice in a pan. End of story. Problem SOLVED! Thanks!!

A New Favorite Book...

I just finished reading The Time Traveler's Wife, and I am very excited to see the movie. Drew said he'll go with me. I love the way this book was written, poems, french, german, everything was written so delicately. According to the internet, she has a new book coming out this month! I'm anxious. Maybe I can get back to focusing on these wedding plans, and read that book after the big day. :)

I've been very busy planning the wedding & working full-time. :) Our colors are now Burgundy, Creme, & Black... because I couldn't find enough yards of grey Dupioni Silk for my gorgeous dress. All is well, I'm sure it will turn out beautiful since Drew's Aunt (the seamstress) is AMAZING!! The dress will now be a darker creme with accents of Gold. I looove gold! The tashte of it, the shmell, of it, the texture.... haha. I also love Dupioni Silk. Have you seen this stuff? Go to a fabric store and stroke it. I love it. It's like a matte finish silk, with all these random horizontal lines in it. I even googled it for you, because I am nice.

On June 30th, 2009, I turned 21 years old. Drew wanted me to have a nice relaxing day filled with things I like to do. A few days before my birthday, he asked me if we could go on a shoot together up at Bridal Veil Falls. He is a good photographer, and is showing more interest in photography, which makes me very happy. Of course I agreed, and that was the plan. We slept in on my birthday, and then played a little Tetris. We went into work to get our checks and then we deposited them. We went to Barnes & Noble, ordered a Caramel Macchiato & a Mocha, and started reading our desired magazines. After a very relaxing morning, Drew asked if we could then go to Bridal Veil Falls. I agreed, and we went. The falls were packed, kids everywhere. Drew seemed angry and I was also, because I don't like to be around lots of people at once. I like to be alone with my sweetheart! So we sat down by the river across from the falls, and started taking random pictures, and Drew was really fidgety. :) I noticed how he was so nervous and it made me nervous myself! After awhile, Drew looked up at me holding a gorgeous ring, and he said,

"Amy, I want you to be my wife. Um.. Um... Will you marry me?"
Of course I replied, "Yes!"
Kisses...
Then he continued, "I just really want you to be the mother of my children, and I want to grow old with you because you are my best friend. I can't imagine spending my life with anyone else."

We are so happy! We set our date: October 24th, 2009. I am so excited to be his wife!

For our wedding, I decided to have one sister, one step sister, and one sister-in-law (Nancy, Taylor & Sydney) for my bridesmaids, and Drew will have his 3 brothers as his groomsmen. Our colors are Dark Cranberry with Grey, and then white and light green in the flowers. Everyone asks me these questions, so I decided to stick the answers right here! :)

Oh, and the ring is gorgeous! Drew picked it out all by himself! He told me he wanted it to be really sparkly, and it is!!

Good: I woke up on time.

Good: I got to work on time.

Bad: Florentino did not clock out last night, did not run "end of day," and did not enter paid outs. I can't run "start of day" unless "end of day" has been run. This put my morning schedule behind about 45 minutes, and I was obligated to not charge a few customers... grrr. Now Amy is fuming with anger...

Bad: Rebecca called in sick again.

Bad: I can't do my work until the next cashier gets to work, and that is not til 7am. Usually. Today it wasn't til 9am. Yay, another day of me being on the register all morning while customers are angry at me over no fruit salad.

Good: Mike brought doughnuts to work.

Bad: I probably gained like 7 more pounds.

Good: I finished my work early.

Bad: I accidentally left Drew's iPod at work.

Good: Drew picked me up from work, I love seeing his smiling face.

Bad: Got in a car accident on the way home. A lady was entering the round-a-bout and she just kept rolling... into... us... we really had nowhere to go. We sped up, which resulted in her just tagging our back light of the car.

Bad: She saw the dirty inside of my car! I cannot hide this any longer...

Good: It was a beautiful warm sunny day.

Good: I cleaned my car when I got home.

Good: I found a new taillight at Walmart and replaced it, everything is fine now!

Good: That lady will be happy that she doesn't have to pay anything on the taillight. All she has to worry about is her car.

Good: We finally got something to eat!

Bad: I hit my head on the sharp oven handle. I was picking up a noodle and somehow got nailed. Tears start streaming....

Bad: Lower back starts hurting. Maybe a pinched nerve? Who really knows?! I know it wasn't from the car accident, cause I saw that coming, I was braced for it.

Good: I am not leaving the house for the rest of the day! It's so beautiful outside, but I can't risk another chance to get hurt! What is it with my luck today? Or fate?

Good: I love Drew! He is always next to me, through everything. Always positive. Drew and I played the old Super-C today on the Wii. Then Tetris. Then Tiki Towers. Now Drew is in bed and I am soon joining him.

Annette Comes for a Visit

My lovely sister, Annette, is in town for a few weeks while her husband, Dan, is doing Pharmacist stuff all over the U.S.A. They've already been to Maryland, Kansas and Utah, and they're going to Washington after. I don't really understand why, but Dan has to work in different pharmacies in America before he can get his license to be a Pharmacist. (he'll get his license in June!) Annette and her children came over today and just relaxed and had fun with Drew and I. James and Tira are growing up so quickly! I think James will be 5 on May 5th, and Tira will be 4 on December 18th. I'm sure you'll be able to tell that James is such a Cheese from these pictures, and yes, that is my fault! From the day James was born, I unleashed my insane photo skillz upon his soul and he has become a cheesy model because of it. :) But a CUTE cheesy model! Annette and I did her makeup, and then we cut her hair, and she looked so lovely.

Many of you know that my childhood friend, Amanda Clifford, passed away on 11/11/2008 after being involved in a car accident. I feel so bad for her, her family, and her sweetheart that she was planning on marrying one day. Amanda and I had the same birthday, and her passing away caused me to think a lot about my life, her life, what her future would have been like, what my future could be like, relationships that she had, relationships that I have, etc. I guess you could say I've been reflecting and comparing more than I should be, but maybe for the better. She was a Junior at UVU, and she wanted to be a music teacher. Attending her funeral helped to put things into perspective for me. I realized that I can't put my education -or my life- off any longer. Amanda's life was taken from her and she was actually doing something with it. So, now it is my turn to take charge and do something with my life.

I finally decided to go to school. Cosmetology school. Yes, I've already been made fun of by quite a few people, but I really do have the potential to become successful in this industry. I've been highlighting and coloring hair since I was 12 years old. (My sister, Annette, was going to cosmetology school at the time and she taught me quite a bit). Anyway, many of you will be angered that I'm not going into photography, I get it! I just realized on the last few shoots that I actually hate taking pictures. I know, not what you wanted to hear, whatever. I love my camera, love the quality of the images, and I love editing images. As far as taking the picture though, I just can't do it. I've worked with unhappy photographers and it's just not where I want to be in 5 or 10 years. Happiness is key for success. So I decided to start my education, the sooner I start, the sooner I'll be done with it and on with my life. That's how we are all able to move on, right? Taking things one step at a time, on our own time. I'm starting school on 01/20/2009. It's so soon! :)

So much has changed in my life lately. I am learning how to be grateful for things that I had never thought twice about before. There's so much beauty in life that I have been simply ignoring altogether. What's the point in being alive if you don't live your life? I've always stressed over things that don't get done, things that annoy me, things I cannot change, etc. The time spent stressing over miniscule things hindered my ability to live my life. It's not going to hurt anyone if I wait an extra hour to do the dishes so I can spend more time with my sweetheart before he goes to bed. The more I think about what the retarded coworker did today, the angrier I'll get and then I'll just develop a migraine anyway. I'm learning how to calm down and stop thinking about stressors, and its amazing how much happier I am. To most people, this is probably natural to not worry about these things, but for me it is critical that I work on this. I am extremely grateful for Drew's support in every aspect of my life. He's been there for me through everything, no matter what. Drew knows me better than I know myself, which I am grateful for, and also embarrassed. :)

I haven't taken the time to jot down the things I am most thankful for in my life yet. I think it is important to stop and look at the things on your list, and make sure those things are worth it.

Most of all, I am thankful for Drew. I never knew I could be so happy with someone. I never knew it was even possible. He's my other half.
I am thankful for the small things that make my life more interesting, comfortable and enjoyable. The aroma of the spices in my tea, the book on my nightstand, my favorite weed outside our apartment, the fall leaves outside our apartment, I could go on. They're all happy little confirmations telling me that life is to be enjoyed.
I am thankful for love. Love is such a powerful and necessary emotion, I learn more about love every day of my life. My love for Drew grows deeper every day. I can't imagine a world without love.
I'm so grateful for art. It is amazing to me how a creative expression of an individual can influence the life of another.

I have had a month full of deep reflection and wonder, and it has sparked something new in me. I like it, I'm grateful for it. I hope that we can all go through our lives enjoying the small things and learning how to ignore the negative stressors. Live your life to the fullest and I'll do my best to do the same.

Distant Rainstorm and a Simple Day

So today, I got a little bored after Cassidy left my house. There was a pretty rainstorm across the lake and I decided to take some pictures of it. I haven't really stitched photos together before, and I'm sure you can tell! This was a good first try though. There are 7 images side by side, at first there were 9 but I started to dislike the images on the ends as I kept working on this. So naturally, I trashed those two images.

Today was a pretty good day. I stayed late at work- nothing new for me! Drew and I ran a few errands, including a trip to the new Sunflower Farmer's Market next to our work. They have a cute and cozy little store, filled with all kinds of happiness! I like going grocery shopping at this store because it doesn't give you much of a choice... for example: When Drew and I go to Wal-Mart, we come home with 3 frozen pizzas, a box of ding dongs, oreos, energy drinks, ice cream, ETC!! When we go to the new market, we come home with organic strawberries, red plums, tea, waters, fruit juice, veggies, you get the picture! I'm trying to be healthier and this is my way to go! I then went to Lowe's with Cassidy to buy more plants, and I brought them home and potted them. Aren't they cute? Anyway, that was my day! Fun and simple.

It was a fun shoot, and we had to change locations at the last minute, but overall I feel really good about the way the images turned out. I really love this first image, it's of her and her dad. Labor Day

Labor Day was a fun and relaxed day for Drew and I. This is a picture of some flowers I put together for our bathroom. I hate purple, but I love the purple in these flowers. I got the vase at D.I. for $1.00, and I am proud of that! This is Drew's Dad's Ducati. It's an Italian superbike, and they might get it ready to go racing on the track. Or they'll just buy another one for track races only. Whatever. They are scary, but at the same time they look like a lot of fun!

(October 21 this year!!) Right now he's playing Halo 3, and I've got a date to play against him later tonight! (He'll win, but I'll play anyway!)

After the birthday dinner, Drew and I went over to his dad's house to visit. This is Iggy, his dad's pet iguana. She's full of personality and always roaming the house. This is Bendson, the Ball Python, eating his weekly meal. He was annoyed that I had the flash on, so he took awhile to eat. My pictures were blurry from how dark it was, but whatever, this one turned out!All in all, it was a pretty good day! Now Drew and I are pooped, and off to bed!

On August 9th, 2008, Tony, my stepdad, had me go to his parent's 65th wedding anniversary. They had all kinds of family there, and I snapped a few photos in the meantime. Wow this sounds really boring. Anyway, it was funny when the uncles were drunk late at night and everyone was playing bingo. Anytime Uncle Steve announced "O-69!" Everyone would cheer and yell "YEEAH!! WOOOOH!" Haha. During the day, I took some pictures of Annette and her kids:Then there was my mom and Tony, just excited to be there... It was funny because my mom couldn't tell who was drunk and who wasn't drunk at one of the last parties.... she finally figured it out when my Uncle Steve was holding his camera backwards and taking all kinds of weird pictures... My mom hadn't been around that sort of behavior before then. :)
I hated the gay nametags they made us wear. Mine said "Amy... Tony and Jane's Daughter." I wore it on the underside of my boob so they couldn't read it very well. :) Melissa wanted a chance to look super hot in a picture, and every time I try to take a model shot of her she gets all nervous and self-conscious and ends up making whack-faces. I managed to get one almost model shot... Don't get me wrong, she's pretty but gets all silly when the camera comes out!Anyway, whatever.

Welcome to my new blog... I forgot the password to my older one... so here's the new one!

Here's a little about me...

I am currently dating Andrew Bigelow, and we are very happy together. We currently live close to UVSC or UVU as everyone is starting to call it. We live in a two bedroom apartment, and it's the perfect size for us! I took a few pictures of our apartment... this was the day that I got my new camera and I had just opened it, so that's why there's crap all over the living room floor! We still haven't hung up any pictures, but that will happen later!We have a really great view of most of Utah lake, the whole walmart parking lot, and yeah, it's pretty neat! We just recently got a new Betta Fish, and I named him Ronnie... here he is:
It's not the best picture of him, I'll work on that later! Just a quick snapshot! He's pretty boring, but fun to look at. His colors are very vibrant and I think he may be smarter than the average betta... haha. Drew told me not to buy another fish, but I'm positive that since the fishbowl is next to the sink it will be easier to clean the bowl...? Maybe not. But whatever, I really wanted another fish. Already killed the other ones. Drew said we should get an alpha fish so they could be friends... alpha and beta... ha. I don't even know if alpha fishes exist. I'm blabbering. Nothing new though... just ask Drew!!

Drew and I both work at Einsteins right now, and it's not the most fun job in the world but it pays the bills... for now. I've got some funny pictures from that place, but I'm not sure where they are at the moment. I could have deleted them, whatever.

This year has been fun for us. We went to the Coheed & Cambria / Linkin Park concert in Salt Lake City earlier this year. It was so much fun- even though our seats were up in the boonies. We went with Drew's brother, Blake, and his girlfriend, JeNeal. Here's Drew and I in the stands:Coheed and Cambria's set wasn't so big, but it was okay, we've seen them before. They're our favorite!!The crowd was so big. This was our view of the people in the general audience admission. Drew is too cute- since I'm so short he got us seats so I could actually see the concert this time! It was nice not getting pushed around. That concert was thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. Linkin Park was amazing live, they sounded exactly like their cd recordings. The lead singer was a skinny man.

A little while back, I got bored one night and decided to paint a picture of Drew. I did some orange watercolors for the background and a mixture of acrylic and oils for the main part. One day I hope I can master blending and shading in a painting. That would be amazing, but for now I settle for this.
Anyway, I'm positive my blog will be extremely random and childish, but that's me, so I'm okay with that. I'll post more later, photoshoots and whatever.
